Wedbush Installation

New LED technology is changing the signage landscape

Wedbush came to Signtech wanting to update their downtown high rise signage to new energy efficient LED’s and a more consistent brighter illumination of their brand. We worked with our vendor partners to provide them a sign that saved 70% on electrical costs over their current neon system. In addition the new sign was brighter and had the temperature White they wanted so that it popped in the LA skyline when viewed from Staples center and the Nokia center. As you can see the sign turned out beautifully and in the long run will save with energy consumption and maintenance costs.

New Storefront for Wilma & Frieda

Signtech Delivers Creative Solutions On-Time and On-Budget

The owner of Wilma & Frieda, Kelly Mcfall, came to Signtech looking for sign design direction and visibility solutions. She had actually admired some of our signage work at the El Paseo Shopping Center in Palm Desert and was given our name by the property manager there.

Kelly had lots of inspiration photos to show us, both online and in person. After reviewing the design intent and the budget, we came up with a sign package customized just for her. The main storefront sign is stenciled onto the storefront and then hand-painted in the field to achieve the look of a “farmhouse cafe with an urban twist”.

Upon my recommendation, we chose an awning fabric that most closely captured that look. We added two awnings to the fascia, for a total of four, and to save some money, we were able to reuse two of the existing awning structures to refinish and recover with the gorgeous Cooper Black striped Sunbrella awning material. Kelly is so pleased with the look, and the fact that we completed our install weeks ahead of the September 2013 Grand Opening.

bareMinerals Storefront Installation

bareMinerals Installation at "The Greene" in Beavercreek, OH

The Green Town Center which offers an upscale retail environment is a perfect location for one of beauty’s leading brands. Unique to this location, bareMinerals’ signage is one that is not only energy efficient using white LED illumination but also features the under stated elegance of halo illumination. In other retail markets, bareMinerals has also embraced the use of low pro letters, however, in a striking face lit version that features an undeniable elegance. Other custom signage for The Green includes jet black Sunbrella awnings and vertical externally illuminated blade signs.

Signtech achieved platinum status in the International Sign Association's Quality Training Accomplishment Awards for 2011.

To achieve this level, the companies have earned a minimum of 75 professional development units in a given year. In all, 120 companies and 39 individuals received some level of distinction in 2011.

"Achieving platinum status is a significant accomplishment for these 12 companies," said Lori Anderson, ISA's president and CEO.
